Government Forces on Tuesday resorted to aerial firing in Sagam area of Kokernag in South Kashmir to disperse the protesters who had blocked the road leading to Koernag forests, where reportedly militants are trapped. Local sources said that youth blocked the road leading to Pahlipora, Larnoo forest of Kokernag area of Islamabad to stop reinforcement leading to cordon site. Sources added that as forces reached the spot where road was blocked, they fired several shots in the air to disperse the protesters. The angry protesters broke the window panes of army vehicles, an eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat. Earlier two militants have been kiled at the encounter site where massive clashes are going on between civilians and Government Forces. Forces have been conducting searches as they suspect the presence of more militants with the help of choppers, said an official.
